As of this writing the market is at 10,242 that is roughly 2,200 points higher then when Obama took office.
I think the point of the video was that it is unfair to say that whenever the market goes up it either has nothing to do with the president or is in spite of him, but whenever the market goes down it is his fault. The economy is still vastly stronger then it was in January of 2009 and some if the credit must go to the policies enacted over the last 18 months.

I love how they report this kind of stuff and how it may be Obama’s fault, and then to try and sound fair, they claim it may not have any connection, but they still want to put the possibility out there. Now somebody like O’Reilly, Hannity or Beck wouldn’t say there MIGHT be a connection, they would definitely say that there probably is. As supposed “straight news” anchors, these people don’t want to state too much of their opinion, but they do in sort of a sneaky way. It’s a clever ploy.
